Fearless Teardrops

 In early December of 2017, I started a series where I painted several different women with the theme of a running teardrop-- to me which represents all struggle and oppression that connects us all. Despite the fact that tears normally symbolize sorrow and pain, I still wanted to showcase the women having the tenacity and the will to continue to fight and carry on-- as you can see from their eyes.
